About Us
In January 2009, The Victoria Inn was donated to Jacksonville State University by Earlon and Betty McWhorter. JSU hired Jackson Hospitality Services to manage the hotel, but realizing that fine dining was not their forte, they decided to close the restaurant until they could find a suitable owner. In July of that year, Alan and Melanie Martin bought the restaurant. It re-opened in October, much to the delight of longtime Anniston residents and visitors to the Inn.The Victoria Restaurant offers fine dining in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. The professional staff will allow you to relax and enjoy your evening while the chefs satisfy your palette. Just pull up to the front door and take advantage of the complimentary valet service. We will handle the rest!
We also provide full-service catering. We can host your special event here in one of our four Victorian Dining Rooms, our piano lounge, the beautiful deck, or the tented reception area. Or we will come to you. Whether you are planning a small family gathering, a business meeting, a wedding rehearsal or ceremony, or an event for hundreds of guests, we are here to help you plan. Our professional pastry chef and cake decorator can help make your special event absolutely perfect!
